Texas Health Resources is in search of a Measurement/Evaluation Consultant (Job Id#
23109).

Brief Summary of this opportunity: Reporting to the VP Chief Learning Officer, this
position will be responsible for designing and conducting an array of teaching evaluation
and learning assessment projects to determine and document best teaching practices,
effective learner feedback and demonstrating the effectiveness of results, ROI,
programs, initiatives and curricula.

To qualify for this career opportunity, candidates should possess:
  • At least five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in measurement,
    evaluation and defining and implementing measurement methodologies
  • Bachelor degree required in Business, Education, Instructional Design or
    Instructional Technology
  • Significant research experience, both quantitative and qualitative in multiple
    training environments
  • Experience with multiple applications such as SPSS, SAS, online research tools
    and Scantron technologies and reporting platforms
  • Experience with project management methodologies that enhance outcomes in a
    quantifiable fashion
  • Excellent client relationship skills that facilitate business communication,
    confidence and satisfaction
  • Ability to form well-reasoned, quantitative fact-based assessments and make
    decisions
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and reconciling diverse
    requirements
  • Exposure/experience with using a Learning Management System and/or Content
    Management System a plus
  • Strong ability to work as part of a cross-functional team

Preferred Qualifications include:
  • Advanced degree preferred in I/O Psychology, Social Sciences or Statistics
    preferred

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Execute project plans, perform statistical analysis, generate reports and
    communicate results regarding programs that are evaluated
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of evaluation methodologies
    that effectively measure learning outcomes for The Center for Learning and other
    learning programs.
  • Develop standard operating procedures as they relate to measurement, including
    documentation and auditing of measurement standards
  • Help to ensure that standard operating procedures (SOPs) for measurement
    systems result in data integrity, and can be analyzed collectively to produce useful
    information
  • Contribute to requirements gathering, enhancement request and implementation
    process for various technology tools as they relate to measurement
  • Research and qualify potential vendors to provide measurement services; manage
    projects which employ vendors
  • Track and analyze participant evaluation forms, attendance and performance to
    determine program impact and effectiveness, forecast training needs and
    improvement
